Max:
Max was the first ever hamster we ever got! I got Max as a birthday present for my fiancee in August 2003. Max is a long haired male hamster. He is the spoiled hamster, he has a 3 level cage, with an extra large wheel so that he does not have to strain his neck when he runs on his wheel. His favorite food is peanuts.
Coconut:
Update: Coconut passed away from a stroke, but will be remembered always.
This is coconut, a girl short haired hamster. She is beautiful, the most beautiful hamster of all. She likes to explore and roll up into a perfect ball and fall asleep. My fiancee got her for me, for my birthday. He got her a month or so before my birthday, and decided to put her in max's cage before my birthday then he'd get coconut her own cage. Big mistake- coconut got pregnant and gave birth to Isabelle and Zena...
Isabella a.k.a. Isabelle a.k.a. Izzy
Izzy is a pirate. Ok she's not a pirate she's a hamster, but she would make a good pirate because she's got a tough attitude and she's missing one eye. We're not sure how it happened, we can only speculate, I came home one day and poof it was popped. Methinks she did it to herself. Anyway she was the runt of the litter, and she still is smaller than all the other hamsters. Izzy is a certified escape artist, she wants freedom more than any other hamster. We thought 8 pounds of pennies would keep her in but within a week she lifted 8 pounds of pennies. Yup, she wants out.
Zena Warrior Princess a.k.a Zena
Update: Zena also passed away from a stroke. She is now in hamster heaven :)
There was no question in our minds what to call her. It was either Zena the Warrior princess, or the Tank, or the Hulk, you get the picture. When we lifted her a month or so after she was born, there was no mistaking it, she was pure muscle. And she was BIG. That's where her name came from.
